The Miami Valley Transportation Club in Dayton, Ohio is an organization that provides a great networking tool for individuals representing the transportation and allied industries. With more than 250 active members, the opportunity to build lasting friendships and mutually beneficial business relationships is ever present. Community involvement, regularly scheduled events and outings provide the atmosphere for members to share knowledge and experience.

The club has a long history of existence and successful membership that drives the organization. The club was founded in 1912 and was originally known as The Dayton Traffic Club. It was founded by individuals representing carriers and shippers and their focus was to discuss current transportation problems, searching for a more cooperative spirit between the suppliers and the buyer of transportation. The club hoped to achieve this through acquaintances, good fellowship, and closer business relationships between people within the group. Although the club has seen many changes and transitions over the years, including the name change to The Miami Valley Transportation Club in 1984, our focus and achievements are much the same.

We hope that all individuals within the transportation and allied industries will join and share with us their experience and help to continue the excellence of The Miami Valley Transportation Club!
